Out of the Estuary into the Bay.

Once the doves were released, the wedding ceremony was completed. As the wedding party and guests took their seats for the buffet luncheon, the Chardonnay left the dock and headed up the Oakland Estuary for the bay.

Once out of the Estuary, we traveled leisurely past Yerba Buena Island and under the Bay Bridge. This view is looking back in the direction we came from.

San Francisco Waterfront.

Heading towards the San Francisco waterfront. The day was a gorgeous one - just enough wind for leisurely sailing, warm enough to be comfortable out on the deck and not a wisp of fog anywhere. Our route took us past Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf then out towards the Golden Gate Bridge.

Once we were nearly to the Golden Gate, we turned back around the north side of Alcatraz Island and headed up towards Treasure Island. Then it was back under the Bay Bridge and into the Estuary.
