Elijah is my third grandchild and the son of Jesse and Amy. He was born on September 21, 2001. He weighed 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 21 1/4 inches long and continues to grow like the proverbial weed. At his six month checkup, he weighed in at 22 lbs. 13 oz. and was 28 1/4 inches. His dad tells me Elijah is already wearing 18 month sizes!

Elijah is one happy baby - except when he's hungry! It seems like he's always smiling and laughing. His day care provider is also his Grandma Deb, who also watches cousin Tyler. Elijah loves his cousin and Tyler is always making him laugh.

Even though I live only two hours away, with a grandchild at this age, it's too far. I haven't been able to see him often enough and he's always grown so much when I do see him. I look forward to the time when he will be big enough for weekend visits with us like Beth and Tyler do.
